I think the original plan was to do a 4th film but Cameron Boyce's passing near the end of filming scrapped those plans. I remember reading at the time that they were planning to end with one of those "You didn't think it was the end of the story did you?" lines but removed it afterwards. I have heard that they are planning an animated special or series but no release date has been announced yet.

Yeah they planned to continue this but just before release Cameron Boyce (Carlos) unfortunately and unexpectedly died. They had a whole memorial video.
