Thanks for the review. Yes, get caught up on this show and let’s watch Part 2 of OBX4! I hate how Netflix is splitting episodes into two parts though. I will likely wait for Part 2 to come out before I binge Season 4 so yeah let us know if you decide to double up and I will wait for you. I don’t know if this will be their final season. Netflix is so unpredictable. This is one of their more popular shows, but you never know. A couple of quick call outs: CHUD – Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers. Last time JJ mentioned it and you started talking about it, I went off and watched it. So I remembered the acronym. Good movie. Carla Limbrey – your favorite from Lost. Her real name is Elizabeth Mitchell. I saw her in The Expanse but at some point she will show up on Once Upon A Time, so you will see her again when you do your reactions on that show. Is that considered a spoiler? I hope not - it is not intentional. I just like seeing my favorite actors on other shows also. The story about Denmark Tanney is based on a partial true story. Interesting that Carla Limbrey was asking Pope why else would John B involve him in all this. So, it's obvious she knows alot about John B's dad, The Royal Merchant and then whatever else she's talking about. I think that even went over Pope’s head. She was dropping hints of things about a treasure and a key and Pope was like, “you are a crazy person”. So I am sure Carla Limbrey will show up again. Another interesting comment was when Ward and the step mom were talking about Rafe. The step mom (Rose, I think is her names) said that they have known there was something wrong with Rafe since he was ten years old. So, the fact that the dad has been in denial about his son for at least, what, ten years? And he sees him killing a cop, on drugs, shoot his sister, etc. and has the means to but refuses to do anything to help him get better? To me, that makes him like the worst father ever. I think Sarah overestimates her relationship with Ward. She knows she’s the favorite but it’s like she is in denial that he is a horrible person. And so when push comes to shove, and that horrible part of him comes out, it’s like she’s shocked. No, girl, you have known for awhile now that he’s a piece of shit. At the moment, of all of the crew, my least favorite is Kiara (looks like John B moved up a peg). I don’t think she really likes Pope. I am going back to S1 where we know she was crushing on John B. Now it’s Pope? I think some of this is her just wanting to maintain her Queen Bee status. We will see but just an observation. I know that you think JJ was crazy for pulling the gun out at the end, but to be honest, this totally is a JJ move. He is ride or die. JJ is just like his dad in some ways. He is reckless and irresponsible and doesn’t think of the consequences of his actions. He's good at scheming and doesn't trust the cops. He'd rather pull the gun and go out in glory than have the cops take him down. He’s still my favorite character, but he does need to be reigned in because without boundaries, he will continue to do crazy stuff. We better see Shoupe step up now that he has the gun that killed Peterkin. His police department seems to be out of control. He allowed Thomas to hit John B. He could have stopped him. He stood back and watched. He knew what Thomas was going to do. That was not cool. Looking forward to the next one. P4L!
