Terra Incognita- This is an absolutely phenomenal episode!! And it's actually my favorite episode throughout this season. I love it! So, thank you once more for another fabulous reaction to this incredible and tragic episode of Person of Interest, Jay! I absolutely love seeing Carter again! And the emotion throughout this episode brought about between Reese and Carter, is so beautiful. Seeing Reese break down upon coming to an understanding through his vision of Carter, that he never allowed himself to open up to anyone, including her, is absolutely heartbreaking. And I love every moment of this episode! From simply seeing how this episode is shot, as it goes in and out between Reese's conversation with his vision of Carter's as he's slowly dying, to the real time events showing Reese's investigation of Carter's old case leading to a rocky resolution, that match the past events with Carter investigating the deaths of the kid's family. I love Reese's entire conversations with Carter, and seeing how she keeps him alive after he's been shot and is struggling to keep himself from dying. I love Carter's struggle to make Reese understand that he needs to stop shutting everyone out and that he needs to open up with those closest to him. Finch, Fusco, and Root. I really appreciate seeing this side of Reese, and seeing just how much Carter really and truly meant to him. It's all so beautiful. In regards to the car window being broken, in case you were curious why... It's most likely broken due to Reese punching a hole through the window in order to break into the car after he had been shot, given that he didn't have the killer's keys with him until Reese had to leave the car so he could snatch them from the killer's dead body at Carter's behest and drive to get him to keep fighting. And lastly... I absolutely believe that it was Fusco who finds Reese in the very ending as we see the car headlights. And while we don't see what comes of the young man forced by his half brother to take the drugs, I also believe that Fusco arrived in time in order to save him too, and that Reese would have pleaded with Fusco to save him as well. At least... I absolutely hope so. I feel so badly for the young man. Which makes me so happy that Reese was at least able to take the scumbag half brother out! :) Thank you so much again for your reaction to this incredible episode, Jay! I am so happy you really loved it so much! I do too! Sincerely, Heidi

"Reese kills everybody"... but he doesn't though. Team machine, even Root at times, tries NOT to kill people. Which is why killing Martine like that wouldn't have been befitting of the show at all. The discussions of right or wrong and the team's moral compass is touched on heavily throughout the show. Reese has changed a lot from his earlier days, and now he kneecaps people instead of killing them, for the most part.
