Hey, thanks for the reaction. You came in heated this episode for sure. John B was on your stupid list for sure. I don’t think there's anything he can do to turn that around and get back in your good graces. From what I can tell though, he didn’t, and still doesn’t, know much about what happened to his father. It seems like all he knows is that his dad and Ward were working together and that Ward killed him. I think his anger came in because up to this point, he believed his dad was just missing. Finding out that Ward dumped his body just confirmed that his dad was really dead. I think that is what made him snap and get the gun to try to kill Ward. Thinking Sarah may have told Ward about the gold was just him being crazy out of his mind. Is he making bad choices? Yes, absolutely and I don’t see this letting up. He actually is alot like his dad as we are coming to find out. Ward is making bad choices also but in a more calculated way. First off, he wasn’t helping Big John for 20 years. Big John just basically said he had been researching The Royal Merchant for 20 years and that Ward had just recently came aboard to help out. So, Big John felt like Ward’s input did not measure up to the amount of work he put into it for them to have a 50/50 split. Quite honestly, they should have talked through this ahead of time, but I think Big John saying he will give him 20% was not cool. Granted, 80M is not bad, it still was wrong and for that reason, I do kind of agree that Big John was trying to cheat Ward out of their deal. Where Ward went wrong was by not helping Big John when he hit his head and then dumping him overboard. It was a punk move. He was already rich. He could have just sued Big John once they found the gold. So now, everything he did since dumping John B's body was so that he could maintain his story and keep his lies going. He was responsible for all the deaths on the island, he was attempting to kill John B to keep him quiet, faking his injury and even keeping Sarah away from John B all was designed so that he could convince everyone he did nothing wrong. It’s manipulative and does make him the number one baddie on the show. One thing that I do agree with you on is that Ward got the gold fair and square. It kind of doesn’t matter that John B and his friends found it first. It was on private property, and they didn’t take it right when they found it. They would never be able to prove it’s theirs once Ward bought the Crane estate. John B should have taken the deal Ward offered on the boat. I think that conversation the two off them had probably also triggered Ward and reminded him of how Big John also tried to cheat him. The whole thing with Pope and his dad was a nice change to the story. Pope’s dad is probably my favorite of the parental units. I have a feeling though that Pope is running out of chances there. Plus he blew his interview to get a scholarship so he now has nothing going for himself. Kiara is out of her mind and hopefully she is coming to realize that whatever she felt or thought she felt for John B is over. Quite honestly, I think she just likes being the center of attention and thinks her loyalty to the group is what allows her to be Queen B and it’s just not. Move on, Kiara! We had to know Rafe would be the downfall of the Cameron family. He was already a loose canon by being a drug addict. Plus he was jealous that Ward seemed to favor Sarah more. I think something about being the older kid, only son, etc. that he just felt entitled. I am thinking he went to the airstrip to confront his dad based on what Wheezy told him. I don’t know if he necessarily planned to shoot Peterkin, but he is so messed up on drugs and just probably thought that would be a way to get back in his dad’s graces. I think Peterkin was just playing the dirty cop so she could investigate what was going on. It sounded like she knew the rest of the cops on the force are dirty so she couldn’t trust them with the information she had. That’s unfortunate because someone should have had her back when she went to the airstrip. Lots going on this episode. On a plus note, JJ wasn’t beat up this episode, so that’s a win in my book!
