Update: learning professional Animation / Building a beast computer (Patreon)

So, I have made up my mind about the whole animation thing and I must say that I really like doing it. 

Without thinking too much about it, I have bought an animation course for 90 dollars from the Daz3d studio and I am starting to study it. The objective is to reach a level of knowledge that will allow me to create full-length clips, no longer just simple gifs of a few seconds.

And in order to do this, well... I need an even more powerful computer, since animations are not as simple to render as pictures for a comic.

Let's put it like this, in a way that even those that have no clue about 3D modeling can understand:

Animations are made by frames. The creator usually can set-up how many frames per second compose the final product... On a normal screen, whenever you watch a movie, you see it at 24 FPS's (unless you own a plasma Full HD or 4k TV with extra fluid image).

So, every second that passes, your eyes are staring at 24 pictures being thrown at you. The same thing goes for animations... 

Let's say that I want to create something that lasts for 10 seconds and I am using the same FPS as movies... It would mean that, to be complete, my computer will have to render 240 images (almost 4 full length Tier 3 comics!).

You understand by yourselves that in order to achieve a good speed, either way I would create animations that are very small (in size) or bland (with no proper background) or I need a much more powerful computer, because renting a Rendering Farm is quite out of the questions, it's way too expensive.

So... Long story short:

I have already started the course and I am going to start buying components for my new computer month by month, trying to achieve it within a 6 months period. 

In the meantime, start thinking about who you'd like to see featured in our very first animation among our girls ;) Some suggestions may be: Lilith, Lucithia, Sadira, Lydia or Astrid.
