I don't know who did it, but someone took it upon themselves to post links to the new build publicly a day after its release. Given the last time this happened was back during the Oswin interview I think we had a good run until this happened again.

I'll be blunt. For whoever did that, was it because there was something wrong with the build or was it because you just wanted to share? Either way, I've disabled the links for now and am looking into alternatives for file security moving forward. Likely doing most everything through itch.io for hosting but we'll see.

Just remember that sharing paid content directly effects the ability to work on the game, meaning it gets done even slower if I have to resort to finding an additional job to ensure rent gets paid.

For patrons that have not yet gotten the new update. It'll be available again in a couple days.

EDIT: I've been talking to some people experiencing similar issues and for the time being it looks like itch.io will maybe work for the short term while I wait to hear back from someone regarding something a little more secure. For Patrons that wanted the new stuff, it should be accessible again.

Ew, don't do all that y'all. So disrespectful.

Sucks that people do shit like that, luckily Itch is a good way to protect against them

Considering the last time this happened someone probably had a problem with the length of the build. Since the last time it happened i dont think you've ever released a build thats just one day for one person. Personaly i found it kinda short but it had ALOT of information in it (Thanatos is a black hole of possibilities and issues) so i rather enjoyed it.

This definitely sucks as it gets in the way of development. The update was good for setting up intrigue. I'm gonna up my pledge to help mitigate some of this damage.

I've been a lurker a lot, enjoying the public content that you generously offer, but I decided to throw support in going forward because of the effort you put into your work. Hopefully this doesn't get to you too hard. I'd support releases on itch or other platforms if they allow for accountability and a way to offer unique download links. Thanks for your efforts Grizz.

No excuse, they probably hated something, which I don't understand as this was a great Ty build 🤬 I can't see any other reason why since they get released to the public after a bit. Some people just have no patience

Sorry to hear. Remember to take it easy.
