Hello. It's been a pretty frustrating couple weeks here on Planet Earth. I suspect most people probably feel this way. It's hard to focus on "fun" and "entertainment" while there are daily images of kids being bombed by the Russians. While there has always been war, and there's always something bad happening on a daily basis, this particular war feels especially cruel, callous, and completely unnecessary. It's also a reminder to spend more time with kids, family, and friends while we're still here. Everything is so fragile.

Additionally, I'm juggling so many pieces of media now that it's been tough to select various things and release them early, or special, or late or whatever. I've tried to turn my creative time into escape time and work towards my greater plan of marketing and product development in a bizarre way (aka intergalactic domination.)

So, I'm still here. A little slow on Patreon but it's hard to be like "Yeah, it's awesome!", even if it is awesome. It' subdued. There has been a lot going on and I'm starting to roll out not just music, but also some video based on the music such as the Space Cavern video featured here.

I'm trying to work out some simple yet catchy and clever ideas to present songs with computer generated images or graphics of some kind. I created the Space Cavern video with a simple FL Studio plugin, but I think it works. I have a few more things on the way that I think we'll see soon. There are also some new video series in the works built around the music that should be launching soon on various platforms to reach new audiences.

Anyway, I have some print work to focus on over the next few weeks, but plan to also continue learning how to tie all my gear together. The Matriarch is amazing, albeit slow to learn and pretty complicated. The Nord Drum kit isn't much easier, but when they work they work! I hope you like the sound of Space Cavern.

Music is kinda weird, but I like that. Some people are beyond opening up to new songs or acts and resist everything, others are totally down for whatever. So it's just endless discovery on my end! I want to make my gear stand on end because why not? Let's make it hum.

Take care and keep an eye and ear out for new stuff, check the Turbo Volcano website for a peek at the upcoming album covers.
