There's so much going on which is EXCITING that it's hard to keep up. First of all, I work in bits and pieces. All year you'll be seeing bite sized chunks begin to form one cohesive whole giant thing. But it'll literally take all year.

TURBO VOLCANO

I ordered a bunch of real analog synthesizer gear. I'm building a recording studio. It's being assembled into the Intergalactic Space Arcade.

It's taking a while to get everything, so Turbo Volcano is delayed but whatever, it's not a big deal. In the meantime I'm tinkering with the Korg Gadget 2 iPad app as I start to work out some synth tune concepts for upcoming commercial work and entertainment videos. This video is a test on day 2 of me learning the Korg app. I rather like the 2nd track a lot. That's what I'm looking for in a short 30 second video (example is a bit longer)

Fun fact - the drums are Korg Sega Genesis FX tracks that I tapped out and added a ton of reverb to. 16 bits of POWER.

Assuming the real gear works, assuming I can figure it out, assuming the longer songs come together, assuming I don't get totally sucked away into print and inventory, assuming a lot goes right.... maybe a Turbo Volcano vinyl end of 2022.

Would you like a giant 180g Turbo Volcano vinyl gatefold LP? You haven't even heard it yet, but I'm "assuming" it might have an 80s synth influence and huge-ass drums.....

COOKING

This isn't even a joke. Cooking shows are huge. I'm working on a series of cookbooks. I'm building a studio. I have futuristic robot synth band in production and cameras. Why not make a cooking show to promote the books? If it sells books I'm game.

Just curious. It may fizzle out when I actually budget it, but I think it's a pretty interesting concept that fits right into Operation Turbo Volcano. Just tinkering with set ideas during everything else..... would you watch me drink beer and cook with a mustache?

TRUXTON

One of the upcoming podcasts will be pretty exciting.

80s COMICS

I'm planning to record the first 4K 80s Comics review in a week or two. It may prove to be the template for the cooking show of all things....

BOOKS

Next week I have to get back into real print production after being away in the land of marketing for more than 2 months. I guess the only downside here is that it'll put strain on everything else and slow stuff down, so hopefully it all gels together. Here we go.... into the Turbo Volcano!

PODCAST

The podcast is doing better than expected. I guess I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's starting to take shape. And it fits into Operation Turbo Volcano which means I can justify the time to work on it. Thank you for listening.
