Ethel the Cyborg Ninja #3 is in production. The very first page was roughed up today and you get to see it first!

Once again I'm working primarily in Procreate with Photoshop finishing work. You'll be seeing a lot of updates here as they appear. Issue 3 really sets the story in motion after the events in issue 1 and 2. Trebley Fruxlin returns (as pictured) and all hell breaks loose, again.

Check it. There will be 2 releases of Ethel 3.

1. Standalone black and white floppy release. 7x10 book, glossy cover, crisp art.

2. Oversized 8.5" x 11" trilogy collection that contains all THREE issues! Printed on higher quality paper, with bonus features and even a few splashes of color in the additional material. I drew everything for larger size print so here it is, finally! Oggle her tattoos and the background wiring.

It's a lot of fun diving back into the Ethel series, which I wasn't sure would return in 2020 but I got the plot in my head and it's a wacky book to draw, which is great fun. Returning to Ethel after Magnum Skywolf is awesome because it's so absurd and I'm more confident with the art style! Also, Edit-Station 1 never gets old.

I'm also working on Magnum Skywolf 2, there's been a good bit of interest in that. It's a harder book, but I hope (hope) it can be finished by end of year. If not, it'll be early 2021. It is storyboarded and it's filled with action and the one-liners :)

Take care, enjoy the art updates,

Mark
