A Big Look at Robot Kitten Factory 2 (Patreon)

Hello from Space! (just kidding, I'm on Earth but I WISH I was in space.)

Here's several pages of art in progress for Robot Kitten Factory issue 2, which will hopefully be complete this month. This is a very fun project because I can really experiment with wild artwork using Procreate in a classic manga style.

What we're looking at here is four pages of art. The first one is the monster getting sucked into a black hole. That's the first pass of inks, which is good but awaiting details and finishing. It's going to be a very detailed page when done.

There's also a page of rough "pencils" for storyboards, all drawn in Procreate.

The other two pages are inks in progress. I go through the book in waves and do all the basic artwork first, and then spend more time on the harder panels and finishing work. Then I sit on it and add the final dialog and balloons and whatnot. So close, but so far away!
