Magnum Skywolf with Kuretake and iPad (Patreon)

I've been pounding out background work with my Kuretake 50 Fountain Brush for the past few days trying to learn how to make the most out of the fewest strokes to give that visceral energy to the most mundane of imagery that makes a classic comic/manga pop off the page. I'm still learning, but I'm getting there.

Magnum Skywolf is in full 100% all-in production, and I'm creating it with about eight different software packages and two computers and mixing in physical media. Here's the physical media part, which kicks ass in this scene. I'm going to refine it in Procreate, but I love the way the sable hair brush feels on paper - it's pretty awesome. 

I'm nerded out now. Thank you :) - I am hoping for a March release, it's a tough book to say the least. I'm re-drawing the entire thing over the original pages and refined the story to fit into a series of books. It's so very rad.
