Just a proof of concept I did last night, inspired by a Facebook post on Houdini Artists group by Magnus Larsson. All cred for the base of the idea to him. :D

So Magnus Larsson posted this curve clip setup in the Facebook Houdini Artists Group which inspired me to play around with a 3D variant of the idea, using the objects normals as cutting direction.
