I imagine it'd be an incredible engineering feat to make a cod piece for a centaur. Some sort of telescopic thing.

I'd size the codpiece for the erect size and just sort of have it as a long and possibly stylized strip along the stomach. The *real* issue is making it easily removable for the centaur themselves without completing doffing the armor. The straps involved would be complicated...
