Today was a long work day, figured a break could be nice. A break doing random stuff! Let's see if we discover new music, food and games to enjoy!

If you're in need of a break like I am right now, let's hear about your...

1.Favorite music to listen to while working!

2.Favorite snacks!

3.Favorite RPGs!

4.First RM project!

1. https://seainthesky.bandcamp.com/album/sea-in-the-sky-ep

2. Apples! (For real!)

3. Etrian Odyssey 3,4 Untold 2!

4. It was a heavily final fantasy inspired game revolving around most cliches you can imagine! I think I finished one town, one cutscene, tons of plot documents and no battles whatsoever before I erased it!

aekashics

Ohh is Partisan I your current RM project as well? Star Ocean is love as well!

Can I just say that I'm super proud of myself for replicating the pickpocket feature of Star Ocean 2? With help from some folks in the forums/reddits of course.

Favorite Music: Alot of Natewantstobattle's music Favorite Snack: Pizza Pringles Favorite Rpg: A tie between dot hack and dark cloud 2 First rm game: a barebones basic rpg that relied to much on grinding to get from area to area. While i completed it i would never release that horrible game into the wild

And yeah Partisan I is my first game that I'm making to completion. I've started one other, but I didn't have the basic understanding I needed to make it do what I wanted, so I'm putting myself through a basic Jrpg ala yanfly's tutorial

1.Favorite music to listen to while working! I usually don't listen to music when I'm intensely working, but for casual working, I listen to whatever game music soundtrack I have on my listening backlog. 2.Favorite snacks! Mostly stuff from Naturebox and Love With Food. 3.Favorite RPGs! All the classics that inspire me on all my projects, such as Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, FF6, FF7, Rune Factory, Baldur's Gate II, Morrowind, and Deus Ex. 4.First RM project! It was a demo made in RM2k(reeeeally old) about a post-apocalyptic dystopian world filled with conspiracies.

1-Fav music to listen to while working? My job does involve some compiling of lists, to stave off tedium and keep focussed I listen to a great many tracks... But a few favorites would be The Sinking Old Sanctuary, Pitch Black Intrusion, Vampire Killer and many others from Castlevania. Megalovania, Battle against a true Hero, His theme and more from Undertale, ANY Mega Man track but especially Wily Stage 1-2 from MM2. The Moon from DuckTales and so on... 2-Bokkenpootjes and spekkoek. They're called Eclairettes and Lapis Legit too in some countries, but not in the Netherlands. 3-Oooooohhhh, way too many to list... Chrono Trigger, Persona 4, Final Fantasy 8, Final Fantasy Tactics, Baldur's Gate 2, Planescape: Torment, Genso Suikoden 1+2+5, Valkyrie Profile, Legend of Legaia, Wild Arms, Arcanum, Lunar SSC, Lunar 2, Vandal Hearts, Breath of Fire 2... That's not even scratching the surface of this iceberg though. If its an RPG I'm interested, if its good then its a keeper for me. While I still like FF7, it and some other titles are on the 'done with'-pile mostly. 4-Ahahaa, would you believe I tried making some in the illegally translated RM95? I've tried almost every engine since, including that one for LAN online RPG's. Didn't work well though. I didn't really get any games ready to play till RM2K though.

1: Quicksand from the FFXIV ost 2:is dependent upon mood but jerky is always good. 3: a little known RPG maker game called Devil Hunter seeker of power and 4: is an RMMV remake of the beforementioned game.

You should be proud indeed! Always nice to see our ideas outside of our head!

Haha I see! I actually share a similar backgroudn when it comes to SNES era RPGs I think! I'm not familiar with Baldur's Morrowind and Deus Ex, however. And yum that naturebox, I'll keep an eye on that, thanks for the rec!

Haha Undertale themes ahoy! Unfamiliar with that snack, but upon googling it I must say I am tempted to try it someday. Can't go wrong with a Layered cake. Breath of fire! I don't hear that franchise getting metions too often lately, it also is part of my younger years haha. And wow RM95, though I think my first contact with RM software was from the Snes version haha.

1. Fave music: I tend to put on my Ellie Goulding Pandora Radio station, personally :3 2. Crackers and Cheese 3. I love the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, though that's not 100% an RPG. Final Fantasy 8 also holds a high place of honor in my heart as my husband gave me a Greiver ring when we first started to get serious when dating. 4. I started a project in VX Ace but I didn't get any farther than designing main characters. My "Towers of Light" is my first and only genuine project, now in MV.

RPG Tsukuru? Neat. I did check that out once, but was very different from RM95. The funny thing is, the basic from RM95 are still in today's RMMV. The old engine was very limited, but you could still get a decent game out of it. =D And bokkenpootjes are definitely tasty, just beware eating too many. The same goes with spekkoek. The original recipe tastes similar to spiced biscuits (speculaas), but the pandan version has a very sweet taste. Breath of Fire 2 is the first entry in the series I played, followed by 3 and then 1 (snagged it immediately when I found one). I wish they'd reboot the series, but more in the style of 1&2. 4 was... good, but weird. And Dragon Quarter? No thanks, I'd rather play Sonic 06 and have my toenails pulled. XP But 2 has a special place in my heart. I still love the diverse world, hard battles and the development of your own little town. =D But which entry in the series is your fav? If any?

aekashics

Haha that ring bit sounds amazing! Good luck in your first project then!

1-I usually don't listen to music while working, but i keep "humming", lately i've this song in my head:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H36pi8bm6zA 2- switching between chips and chocolate corn flakes, while drinking ice tea 3- Xenoblade Chronicles, followed by Dragon quest IX and Bravely Default and obviously pokémon. 4- A very linear fantsy adventure (king says "go in the forest and kill x, the return take prize and repeat) made with RPG Maker XP. I finished it but it was on a pen drive and i... well... at that time i was brave and don't "safe remove" usb... so my game data get corrupted and i've lost nearly 80% of my work.
