Hey everyone!!

The post title sounds ambiguous, the screenshot says a bit, but I will explain a lot!

This month I decided to undertake a special project which I feel will be  useful to the community, a propeller based airship tileset!

So far it is in a very very *very* WIP state, but it will be constantly worked on!

I took heavy inspiration from Setzer's Blackjack , but mostly in the sense of having a lot of machinery backing the ship's flight capabilities. I took this particular decision to make it different than a flying pirate ship, which can sort of already be done through standard tilesets.  VTOLS were also a huge influence as I definitely want it to be a ship which has some explanation behind being capable of doing vertical take-offs and landings

I also opted for wood as the base of the body because I don want it to look and feel too much like an endgame ship if you know what I mean!

As you can appreciate from the walls and floors, I am also depating from pixel based tilesets to favor high resolution downsized sprites, to achieve a look more in line with RM's RTP.

The High-Vangard will be a free public use tileset but its completion will be no easy task especially since I want it to be very comprehensive and versatile, both with interiors and exteriors.

And this is where our awesome community here at patreon can pitch in and participate! I want all of us to put this tileset together, so I would love to hear any suggestions for objects and interior sections the High-Vangard should have!

Are you excited for the High-Vangard? Was it a tileset you felt was missing from the available options? I'd love to hear your thoughts, but above all, I'd love to work together in creating this tileset! please list any suggestion in this thread!

Amazing and inspiring start to this tileset :D, definitely a concept missing/unable to be achieved with the base tileset but something that could be really fun. One of my most immediate thoughts is a more suitable living/sleeping area like matching hammock's, etc. Also would be nice to have a large versatile table and windows to have on the front side of that ship. Another suggestion about the wood, best to save for later once the style and other assets are concrete but it would be nice to have 2 other 'types' of wood, to represent the quality/expense of the wood, to allow for easily versatile 'grandeur' levels with that kind of change.
