Hello everyone just a quick opinion poll today as I brush up the Blood manipulation Creatures!

What are your top 3 biggest obstacles(Or I guess, assets you're lacking and cant find anywhere) when it comes to graphics in your game making at the moment?

Weapons, weapons, weapons. Sprite resources are so limited for the animated plug in.

Very illustrative! I've also heard interest in face Iconset for animated battlers.

That might be cool too. I'm curious if bust illustrations could also be a thing for people using that method.

I would love to see a face set for npc's that matches your existing facesets and art. Granted that would be a huge undertaking.

I hire a university student that works for sony to make my characters, it isn't cheap but he's really good. They call him the master of spine lol

I think unique creatures and tiles are where it's at. You're working on half :)

Characters graphics and face sets. Expensive. + Difficulty to find good artist. And because exist not so much original, unique and free characters graphics. Sorry for my bad English.

I'm working on a game with a modern setting. So I'm having issues finding modern clothing that's visually distinct enough from each other to fill out my roster of PCs and NPCs. Similarly it's much harder than I'd like to create a modern store with the tilesets I've found. ... basically there's not enough modern stuff available (probably even less Sci-fi though).

Side view battlers, tile sets and face sets. There are a serious lack of them out there that don't bend to the RTP vibe.

I'm actually not sure how much I can reuse RTP designs haha. TOS basically states if I make adaptations of those portraits to RM design they will only be usable in RPG MAKER engines, but can be used in any commercial rpoject outside of that restriction right?

Darkstarmatryx

You are correct the RPG Maker Engines RTP restrictions are that you can't use the facesets based on their characters outside of their engine. so yeah that would suck since your art is usable in all engines and those pieces wouldn't be possible to make like that. I didn't think about that.

Very late to this party - but I get by on enemies and monsters (battlers) thanks to your marvelous work, and I'm mostly okay with the default character generator, though I wish it had a bit more options. I've found many of the tilesets to be more than adequate as well, though there may be a few "special" tiles I wish were available. For me, I think the toughest graphics to come across have been map sprites that fit your Librarium adequately. I've found many that work just fine from Avery and Whtdragon, but they don't cover everything. I'm aiming for no random encounters, so it's a bit of a challenge...

Also fresh looking animations are tough to come by as well... best bet, so far, has been to trial and error by various graphics into existing/default animations. I've gotten some really neat results, but it's tough to come up with certain effects at times.
