Hubby and I have been playing through the Uncharted series. Also, I've finished one Dishonored and need to play the next. Horizon Zero Dawn is also really good, too

Might be the least relevant for you lol, but even as a non-car person as a result of Assetto Corsa being made compatible with the HTC Vive VR headset that I have, I've been playing that more than any other game in probably years and have consequently bought all the car DLC for it-also loving playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 in there as a relaxing experience after putting on some music/let's play to listen to in the background. I'd strongly recommend "FTL: Faster than Light" if you haven't already played that though-previously my most addicting game, a near impossible to win but consistently engaging roguelight almost micro-real time strategy game in space, and it's 75% off on the steam sale so insanely affordable right now with countless videos around to get impressions of it.

I will personally spend time on games like Devil may cry, Resident evil, Scribblenaut, Breath of the wild or Disgaea. But if you want to play my favorite game of all time, you could consider playing ZHP for the PsP. We all know you work really hard so take some time for yourself ^^

Oooo you know, I've never played any of those games, I probably should! I dont really dabble much into 3D games for some reason, but I started playing Bloodborne last year and it really changed my perspective! out of the ones you listed whats the top pick?

I definitely will have to check out FTL! Any other games like that you reckon are popular currently? And orz you really make me want to save up for an HTC Vive of my own!

Oo that's tricky. I enjoyed watching Daniel play Uncharted and the most recent one (which we played first and then went back to the original 3) has the best difficulty curve. Plus you can follow everything that is going on without knowing all the little nods to past games. So Uncharted 4 is my pick! I really enjoyed Dishonored, but I had to really think to play it the way I wanted to play it - stealthy and low Chaos, one of the game mechanics - and HZD requires a lot more strategy than Uncharted.

Also ace combat 7....

ZHP also known as Zettai hero project is a game made by Nippon ichi software that parodies the sentai series and have tons of reference. It's a dungeon crawler tho.

If you'd also fancy side scrolling action games "Dead Cells" is a relatively recent but madly popular (also 'overwhelmingly positive' like FTL on steam-and 15% off atm) side scrolling super smooth action roguelight with a lot of strong design decisions and what looks to be a good team behind it, with plenty of content already to enjoy. Then there's RimWorld which if you ever enjoyed a age of empires esque game is a smaller scale base building/rts/roguelite-esque game that had another update recently (early access) with practically indefinite replay value, though the depth means a lot of your initial starting groups of survivors will be lost in the learning process. Though equally awesome depending on your interests, for an in-between game I'd still choose FTL over this as it's easier to get into and jump back in any time later on to sink a few or more hours/nights into your attempts (RimWorld you'd be sinking days/weeks into) Also if you want something to enjoy more casually and liked any iteration of the harvest moon series, Stardew Valley is unquestionably the definitive version of what that could be (and is 40% off on steam atm), it's essentially the ideal version of that with design decissions that harvest moon should have worked out in their 2nd/3rd game but keep breaking over and over again (mini rant xD; ). If you wanted the best harvest moon game (that includes fun legend of mana-esque combat), someone worked hard to bring you that as Stardew Valley. Haha you'll definitely have to start saving for a HTC Vive/HTC Vive 2 whenever that's planned-it's definitely worth it, especially if you enjoy Escape Room-esque experiences which have found a great natural home on the system :D (even better if you have others to come play the escape room after you've completed it-I Watch my Mum play it/switch in occasionally, then we invite my Mum's friend over to play it while we watch (I have the HTC Vive set up behind my monitor so it's easy for us to watch with a couple of seats)). You definitely need to make sure you can at least make a space of 2mx1.5m for your room (even though the HTC Vive minimum requirements for room setup is is 1.5mx1.5m, most experiences require 2mx1.5m) Also if you enjoy can enjoy VR golf you are set forever with "The Golf Club VR" (literally over 130k golf courses available-with the best advantage of being able to teleport around courses instead of walking haha). Hilariously there's also a virtual golf emulator, within the VR golf game to practice swings etc and a great range of difficulty settings for your swinging (they also have mini-golf courses). Plus me/my Mum and her friend are always ready inbetween anything else to play charades in SculptVR (randomly generate on a site 3~5 words to write down, or grab 3~5 that were generated and printed/cut out, then take turns where 1 sculpts each word as the 2 others guess and score when they guess first-it's insanely fun)

The Steam sale is on now and I just picked up a few cool games that are very cheap. Check out Salt & Sanctuary, Hyper Light Drifter, Dead Cells, Transistor, and Dark Souls. All personal favorites.

I've entered in over 15 contests for my book trilogy, the game making is on a steady hold for the moment, been making icons and animations for the passed few months. Playing pokemon moon here and there.
