Hi all,

As explained before, here is the poll to let you decide which game I should focus on. This game will be used as a reward for 10$ patrons and will allow me to add more rewards related to the new game, such as early access, a sex scene chosen by patrons or even designing your own girl in the new games.

After reading your feedbacks from the previous post and some thinking, here is what I've decided to include in the poll list :

  • Vampire Revenge Rebirth - Full 2D game - Complex project : I'll keep working on VRR as planned with the assets I have which should be enough for the first version and will create new assets myself for future versions (quality will drop though) and once the game is finished, I'll hire a proper artist to upgrade the game assets all at once.
  • Apartment management game - Simple project : You play as an apartment complex manager. Inheriting the complex from a distant deceased relative, you also inherit the debt he failed to repay over the years. The apartment complex is in really bad shape with bad reputation and it'll take some work to put it back in shape. Improve the complex by buying new rooms and furnitures and find tenants who will have specific demands. To make extra cash, you'll be able to place hidden camera in your tenants apartments and sell the files to the highest bidder or you could even threaten the tenant to get to do kinky stuff with you. The game will be 2D point & click, similar to Glassix and the models will be 3DCG like the previous post. Scenes could even be animated.
  • City apocalyptic survival game - Medium project : You play as survivor in a city which has been ravaged by a disease. It turns any human being into sexual predators. The disease seems to spread when a subject cums shortly after intercourse with an infected. Survive in the city and discover the truth behind the recent events. Sex battles : Make them cum before your cum ! Several sex positions will be included and the strength will depend on the enemy weak point. Rescue survivors and scavenge resources. Choose a spot as your base and fortify it. Craft stuff to improve your base, such as beds to increase your army number, tools to gather food or water daily and more. The game will use Unity3D in 2D top-down like rpgmaker. Models will also be 3DCG similar to previous post. Scenes could even be animated.

For Vampire Revenge Rebirth, here are a few more details so you can judge what I was/am planning with the game :

  • Resource & craft management : Use your slaves to collect food, wood, cloth, stone and metal and use those resources to create weapons, armors or buildings.
  • Army management : Unlike Vampire Revenge, VRR will let you dispatch teams of girls to fight for you without requiring your vampire to lead them. A team is composed of 9 girls maximum depending on the charisma of the leader of the team. The team is then placed on a 3x3 board separated in front, middle and back rows which will require different weapons to reach the opposing team who will also be up to 9 girls in 3x3 board.
  • World map : Similar to a chess board (Any of you played Advance Wars ? :p), you'll be able to move your armies on the world map. Attack villages, town and cities to capture new slaves or use diplomacy to rally them to your cause. Find new resources spots and secure them. Build new bases and outposts to protect and extend your empire. Explore randomized dungeons to find unique treasures.
  • Base/Outpost : Most cells of the world map can be turned into encampments which will send you to a new chess board where you'll be able to design the encampment cell by cell. Build HQ, shops, jails, houses, walls, towers and more to speed up your resource processing and increase your defenses.
  • Quick battles : When two enemy armies meet on the world map, it'll trigger a battle between them in a classic turn based show off. No movement needed here. Either kill or capture the enemy team.
  • Invasions : By gathering several teams around a village or enemy encampments, you'll be able to invade the spot which will send you to the encampment interface. Deploy your armies and kill or capture all defenders to secure the spot. Of course, the enemy will be able to do the same against you. So be sure to design your base and outposts properly.
  • Dungeon exploration : Similar to VR but the view will be first person instead of top down and more complex with traps, doors and bosses. Battles will be similar to Quick battles on world map.
  • Skills : A complex skill tree will be included allowing you to specialize your troops in different domain. Will it be a warrior, a thief, a mage or maybe just a support character like a scout to make your dungeon exploration much easier ? Improve your skills and spells which will be either active or passive.

I included the complexity of each project.

  • VRR is quite complex and will require many months to reach the final version. Moreover, if we resume work on this, I won't be able to create new rewards.
  • The apartment manager should be fairly easy and will allow me to learn how to use the new tools at a good pace.
  • The survival game is a bit more complex since more interactions will be needed but still within reach.

Some of you suggested using 3D to render the girls in Vampire Revenge Rebirth. After some thoughts, I think it would not work properly. Too much customization for 3D (even though it would be possible) If you read the VRR description above, you will see that a lot of different interfaces will interact and some of them will use boards. Chibi versions of the girls will be required there as well as a lot of custom sprites for the buildings and I don't think the feeling would be as good if I used 3dCG for VRR. Which is why I don't plan to migrate VRR to 3dCG now or ever. I want the game to be cute and sexy and 2D will be better.

In case a new project is started, it does not mean VRR is erased. It'll just be delayed. Either until the campaign reaches enough monthly income and I can hire a full time artist (maybe even the one who quit, since it was just a money issue which forced her to switch job) or until I find another solution for it to work properly.

Some of you also suggested I decide myself what to do now and you'd follow anyway :p All 3 projects introduced here are games I will complete for sure anyway. They have different challenges and all of them will be nice to work on for me. Only the order matter now. VRR was the first since it followed my work on VR but with the current situation, I would have to work with assets produced myself and knowing my skill level, I'm a bit worried about releasing monthly versions of VRR with low quality sex scenes. It's one of the most important aspects for H games which is why I'm trying to be as clear as possible now so you can vote. So it's up to you now, I'm fine with any choices.

Somebody also suggested to just release the first version of VRR then switch game but since I do plan to finish VRR anyway, I'd rather not split the work at 2 different times.

Once a game is chosen, I'll add  regular posts about it to give more details about the game itself and its features since I still need more time to plan them properly.

As for Glassix, you can expect v0.12 for Friday !

Note that I always had planned to work half time on Glassix, half  time  on a second game. I do plan to keep monthly releases for Glassix but if I ever want to reach a full time work on this, I can't rely just on it and need another unique game to reward my patrons.

The poll is opened until Sunday 7th April.

Thanks for your time and support !

Hello Gaweb Studio team , I'm very like your game "glassix" . Hope you can continue keep finish this game , Don't give up !! We'll give you more surport!! :)

gawebstudio

You don't have to worry, both games will be worked in parallel and Glassix will still have a monthly release. There's still a lot missing for it before finishing it so you can expect many more version over the next months. I don't plan to drop Glassix since it's interesting to work on it and patrons enjoy playing it :)

I wouldn't really call VRR your flagship, I mean it might sell well I don't know but I keep coming back for Glassix, I can't wait to see what you got for us for the apartment management one. It has been a while since I had a business sim game worth a crap, and one where I can bone my tenants yeah that sounds fun even if its kept simple :P Kind of reminds me of the last sexy beach game, that was actually the last one by them I really enjoyed.

As you said, VRR is far from the flagship ^^ Glassix got the spot obviously but due to the software used to create it, I'd rather shift this with a new flagship game in case I get bad news. It seems like 2D games need to have a nice feeling to them to get more support, such as what Akabur does, so I think switching to a new 3D game would be the best solution for me since I can't keep up with this part.
