Hi everybody!

2021 has been a strange year with Covid going back and forth. Luckily it didn't affect my work since I don't have to go out anyway :D It also has been a busy year on my side with some nice progress on my adult games:

Lust Complex was always intended to be a simple project for me to learn the basics in 3D since migrating from 2D to 3D is a huge change. The result is so-so. Some of you suggested several good ideas to make the game better which I had to turn down since the game was to learn stuff and I didn't want to spend too much time on it since there were still other aspects which couldn't have been upgraded easily like the graphics.

From what I see lately, players are divided in two categories: 

  • Graphics before gameplay
  • Gameplay before graphics

With the first category seemingly having more numbers. Thinking about it and from the feedback I got, Glassix struggles because if the outdated graphics using Sexy Beach Premium Studio (dating from 2015!) as well as a complex UI and city layout which confuse new players. On Lust Complex's side, the basic gameplay and the average graphics do not help make it stand out either. Both of those results were somewhat expected and my intention is to use everything I learned from those games to make my next ones even better.

Which leads me to this new point. 

Using Unity and Daz3D has the foundations for my next games, the idea would be to avoid doing the same work more than once. I'm currently working on Glassix 2 and have been working slowly on the female character editor, going back and forth on what should be customizable and how it should be done so that I don't have to reexport all the 3D models, outfits, weapons and hair for the next games which can be quite tricky since my next games will be quite varied. For example, Glassix 2 and Lust Cities will have a contemporary set up but Vampire Revenge Rebirth will have a fantasy set up with fantasy races such as dwarves and goblins which are planned to be loli types, meaning smaller size. Which leads to several questions about how to handle animations for those.

If you played Glassix, you already know I want my girls to have similar animations even if they are duplicates. Why? Because I like to have control on my girls and to get full control, I should have all options available. Most other games will force you on a certain path with girls, like Standing HJ => Chair BJ => Missionary Vaginal => Doggy Anal for one girl then Chair HJ => Standing BJ => Doggy Vaginal => Standing Anal for another girl. But what if I liked the second girl more than the first while enjoying the Doggy Anal scene of the first girl more than the Standing anal of the second girl? I want to see my favorite girl in doggy anal too, dammit! 

This is why Glassix has a lot of duplicated content which some players like and some don't and which takes a lot of time to create due to quantity and the outdated studio too. Moving to 3D with Glassix 2 will help make this duplicate stuff much more easy to handle on some part but the height parameter of the character will be a tricky part to handle if I want the small girls to share the same animations as the tall girls, plus small guy and tall guy too.

Going back to the graphics/gameplay, Glassix 2 graphics should be a nice upgrade compared to Lust Complex since it'll be using Unity HDRP which boost the quality a lot. That should satisfy players who complained about Lust Complex lacking graphics. As for the gameplay, I planned a lot of unique stuff for it and there will be a lot to talk about there in another post. But one important aspect of the game will be the roguelite gameplay which has not be used that much in adult games yet and should give you a fresh experience. 

Roguelite means you'll be playing one scenario after another and in between, you'll be able to power up yourself. The first scenario might push you into the life of a teacher who needs to corrupt a certain amount of students in a metropolitan city while the second might push you as a merchant in a rural city needing to pay back a huge debt. In between, you'll be able to unlock spells to boost different aspects of the game, like social, financial or physical, or have spells which would unlock new features, like the ones you already have in Glassix: possession, time stop and new ones of course... Depending on the scenario, you'll have to select the best spells to fulfill your objective more easily and since skill points will be limited, you'll be able to create different profile to easily save/load your templates, one focusing on social scenarios, another for physical scenarios and another on financial scenarios and so on. And with the community tools I'm planning, I'm hoping to have fresh content regularly and never get bored :p We'll see when we get there ;)

To sum up, 2022 will be a busy year focused on Glassix 2 and the necessary tools around it. And of course, all of this is only possible with your support so I'm thanking you all once again for all your help during 2021 as well as your trust. I also apologize to you about the content which had to be dropped (like the extra girls in Glassix or some features in Lust Complex) which was done so I could work faster on the next game which will have even better gameplay and graphics than what I brought you in Glassix and Lust Complex.
