Lust Complex: Blackmail feature (Patreon)

Hi guys,

Let's talk a bit more about what sexy stuff you'll be able to see in the game.

As said in my spycam post, you'll be able to collect random blackmail events each week depending on where you place your spycams. I've prepared a small list of animations which you'll be able to view once you unlock the event.

Simply put, it'll be a basic animation of the girl masturbating, either with her or with a dildo. There's also the classic pee, shower and bath event which unlock automatically of you have the required furniture, because everybody needs to pee and clean themselves right?

Similar to the furniture interface, I tried to make things visually simple:

• A grayed icon means the event has not been found yet. You can still click on it and check which furniture is required
• A colored icon means the event has been found
• An orange border means the events hasn't been viewed yet for this tenant
• A red border means the event has already been used against the tenant and can't be used anymore (but can still be viewed)
• A gray border means the event has been viewed and can be used

This should make things easy for the players to keep track of what has been seen and used.

Each event has an amount of fear and blackmail value. By blackmailing a tenant, her fear will raise which will result in a penalty in her weekly satisfaction. It'll be low with low fear and can be solved with a low rent or good quality room or high reputation for the tenant expectation but as fear increases, it'll cause a definitive loss of satisfaction. This penalty can also be reduced by a high value of blackmail but it won't fully negate it even at maximum blackmail.

The blackmail value (coupled with corruption gained as you train the tenant) also affects which orders you'll be able to give the tenant, similar to what you have in Glassix. It'll start with exhibitionism, handjob, blowjob, boobjob, etc... You know the drill :p

So the goal of the game here will be to gather as much blackmail materials as you can without being discovered and then train the girl to become submissive. If you don't get high enough blackmail, you won't be able to raise her corruption high enough to break her.

At first, I was thinking that max corruption would allow you to pimp your girls but I know some of you don't like to share your waifus :p So to satisfy both groups, there will be two ways to go once her corruption hits max :

By default, you'll earn a certain percentage of her salary and the girl won't try to move out anymore. With this, you still earn more money after breaking the girl, higher rank tenants having higher salaries, it also make sense to switch to better tenants and finally, it means you don't have to share your waifus.

You'll also have the possibility to pimp your girl in which case, she'll stop her current job to pimp and earn a different salary. This can be useful for tenant with a job with low income like janitors but not really needed for higher rank jobs which might already have a higher salary than what the girl could earn by pimping. This solution will also add the ability to peep on your girls when they work for those who likes it this way.

From the screenshot above, you can see there are 16 blackmail events planned so far, I don't know how many I'll be able to properly animate for v0.2, probably not many, but we'll get there eventually. And the list could be expanded as more ideas are suggested by you all.

On a side note, I'm not fully satisfied with the current interface I've developed. In the future, I'd like to add a proper 3D view of the tenant with reactions depending on her current corruption or traits but due to my schedule already being full with others core features, that'll come later.

That should be all for this part. For my next post, I'll share some insights about the game difficulty because here again, I'd like to make it entertaining for both casual players and those who enjoys a little more challenge in their games.
