Hi, I thought I'd post an update in anticipation of the next early access release to let everyone know what to expect and when.

First, since TittyMagic 3.0 came out of EA on the 15th, I've released a few patches that were so far only posted on the Hub page and on Discord.

The patches that were released:

3.0.5 (released Feb 16):

  • fix issues in restoring the saved slider and toggle values when loading from a save file
  • restore default behavior of "Right/Left Angle Target" slider (in F Breast Physics 1 tab) when disabling or removing plugin

3.0.6 (released today):

  • ensure that morphs are loaded from the current var package to prevent scenes/looks depending on TittyMagic from producing dependencies to multiple versions of TittyMagic
  • removed a few unused morphs from the var
  • the previous patch had an inadvertent change to the recalibration which made it a bit faster but less reliable, that change is now reverted

Note on patches and early access: patch versions (e.g. 3.0.x, 3.1.x and so on) will always be free - only new features will be EA releases. New features will be released in so-called minor versions so 3.x, or new major versions (version 3 or 3.0 was a major, version 4 would be another).

TittyMagic 3.1 work in progress

3.1 focuses mostly on the first goal laid out in the roadmap post: Feature-complete and better polished Animation optimized mode.

In detail, 3.1 changes include:

Sideways morphing when breasts are swinging/shaking from side to side. Same idea as with the up/down movement in 3.0. The effect of sideways morphing is a bit more subtle than the up/down morphing, but it does make breasts less static looking in more forceful animations. The effect is most noticeable with larger breasts.

Breast-specific morphs in both up/down and left/right motion. In 3.0, a lot of morphs affect both breasts, and animation optimized mode therefore adjusts morphs in sync for both breasts. 3.0 relies on the right breast nipple position to determine morph values for both breasts, in 3.1 the morph values will be individual to each breast.

Splitting the built-in morphs to left and right components in Blender took quite a bit of effort since I needed to come up with a custom script for zeroing one side of the model to default shape, and another for flipping the left and right vertex positions without mirroring the model itself (which would've messed up the order of vertices  in the model's geometry, and the morph wouldn't have worked). Some sculpting was also needed to fix and smooth out the chest middle area as many built-in morphs that affect both breasts also morph the middle area. This experience with Blender was a pretty good intro and paves the way for more advanced custom morphs in the future.

Hard colliders enabled in animation optimized mode. This is to enable collision to move and morph the breasts. In 3.0, this was prevented because colliding with the right breast would also morph the left breast as a weird side effect.

Breast fat damper depends on physics rate. With this change, the breast fat behavior is more consistent regardless of selected physics rate. Previously, how much breasts "jiggle" (number of oscillations until movement stops) would increase with physics rate, now it stays more constant.

There's not much work to do to finalize these features, and I'm hoping to get the release out mid-week next week!

My dude, I don't know what demons you have entered into pacts with to do what you do, because every single update is noticeably smoother and more realistic than the last. In-friking-credible.
