Any Shenmue fans here? Just me? Okay here I go…

She’s basically Shenmue’s Chun-Li but an actual mommy gf who may be cold towards you but her actions shows that she genuinely cares for you. All throughout the game, she tries her best to disuade you from the dark path of vengeance you’re on but the main character you’re controlling is an 18 year old, jujitsu numbskull who grew up without a mom and wouldnt listen to counsels of wise, beautiful women.

She does her best to convince you to abandon your quest for vengeance because first of all, you’re not even good enough at martial arts and will get demolished by the person you’re looking for (he literally killed your dad). This goes on so much that some Shenmue fans are actually annoyed by her multiple, annoying attempts to stop you.

Anyways, she knew you’d eventually meet with her brother who’s gone down the dark path of vengeance himself (what’s wrong with the men in this game?) the best she could do is teach you an awesome martial arts move (the best parry/counter attack move in the whole series in my opinion because its basically the same move used to off your dad) to give you a fighting chance. You leave never to see her again and you never she the tears in her eyes.
