Important! - Unplanned absence (Patreon)

Hey friends,

sometimes the life is a bit wierd. The flats where I live (from 1957) will be renovated for the whole year - they startet two weeks ago with removing our balkonys. We should now get a lot of new things that should improve quality of life (thermal insulation, new balkonys, new roof, new water and gas pipes, new windows and doors, new cables etc) for the places we have to pay for.  That means that the last weeks was extremly noisy for me and my neighbours - and this should go on over the whole year 2022...Well - the work need to be done and I am thankfull that they start after years of Decay.

But - today we all got a letter from our city government and a building company that the whole street infrastructure will also renewed until the next four - six weeks: New electrecity cables, new Gas and Water Pipeline and (YAY) Glasfibre cable for Internet (we have very limited bandwith with old copper cables) and a whole new Roadsurface.

For that they they parted the whole street and plan to take of the connections every day for at least 8 hours part by part, each part for a week. I live in the beginning of that street, so our part will be the first that should be done - starts on monday.

This was extremly surprising for me and brought me into a situation I don't need. To create Pictures and Comics for you I need a lot of electrecity (computer is running 24/7, mostly with render work) and of course I need an connection to the Web to upload the work here and on DevArt. I can work while it is noisy around me - I don't care. But I can't work without any energy or connection.

So I overthought the Pro and Cons about this double situation. Right now I render "Side Effects Page 145" for monday upload and I pack some luggage and will visit my family for a week. Page 145 should be finished tomorrow, so I can add the text (it is mostly a Face Changement in 4-5 part segments) and shedule it for monday. After that I start my unplanned journey to my family to east germany.
I hope that this will be the only week where those constructions plans ruin my own work, but it has to be done and I am happy that they already do something. I wished that they informed us earlyier, but service dessert germany is mostly known for such things right now, so we could be happy that we GOT an information^^

I hope you all stay here and understand my decission. We will see us (I hope) in a week, if the worker dudes didn't create any trouble.
