Hello everyone, since I launched and set up my Discord server, some people have been asking me for the link to connect. At first, I gave out the link, but quickly deleted it again. The reason? If you connect directly, the Patreon bot cannot assign you the role that corresponds to your level of support and the access to all channels for your tier - I would have to assign the role manually. If you end your support one day, I would then have to manually remove the role from you, which is a lot of effort, as I only occasionally check who has ended their support - which is difficult because usually, I only see the names briefly of who joins or ends the support. Therefore, using the Patreon bot is easier to enter the Discord server.

But how can you then access the Discord server and thus enjoy the content? This is not very difficult in essence, but a little hidden at first glance. It is important that Patreon and your Discord account are linked together.

To do this, first go to the Settings tab, where you will see all the important settings for your account. Look for the "Apps" or "Connected Apps" tab. There you will find the "Discord" tab, where you need to connect with Discord to establish the connection between Patreon and Discord. Note: If you delete your cookies, this connection must be rebuilt.

Once your Patreon and Discord accounts are linked, a list of all the creators you either follow or support will automatically appear. If this creator offers Discord, you will find a "Connect" button. Simply click on it and you will automatically join the creator's server on Discord, be assigned a server role according to your level, and should gain access to the content.

So if you don't want to miss anything, Discord is your number one choice. In the future, I'll be uploading most of my work there alongside Mega.

I wish you lots of fun! :)
