I enjoyed her article, to a certain extent. I actually had a different journey into finding ASMR (which I thought stood for something totally different, so I learned something new.) However, Cardlin, for you and your work to be mentioned in such a precedented publication like Vogue, I think I foresee a bump in new CardlinAudio subscribers - if, of course, that’s what the listeners are looking for on YouTube. I actually personally stumbled onto your work while looking for another alternative to Hank Miller Audio. Not that Hank Miller Audio is bad - in fact I’m still subscribed to their work on Patreon. However, once I figured out how they engineered and produced their methods of audio, I went looking for something different due to creative difficulties (Honestly, there’s only so much wet slapping someone can hear before you figure out how that sound is organically created in a sound booth.) Sorry, TMI? Heh. 😅 Anyway, YouTube kept recommending CardlinAudio - which I thought was a collaboration of different vocal ASMR artists from all the different artwork. That ended with up being a boon to you, Cardlin, because the superior quality your voice work always matches the animations. And then there was the Cardy Bear animations, which I admit was what finally drew me in. I started listening to the tamer recordings and then the “Saturday Previews”, which really caught my attention - because who can really resist that promise in your voice of something more? I signed up for a membership on Patreon because 1) Your work is unparalleled, and 2) I can’t figure how you produce the sound you do (which is key, I think, because it helps keeps the forth wall intact) and 3) I don’t care how you produce your sound effects because they are so well done. In summary, I really enjoy your work. Didn’t know about the drama, but then again that’s beyond my attention due to the lack of time and care invested in the endeavor of actively finding any between the fans. However, your work has helped me through some tough spots, and that alone is worth my subscription. So thank you, Cardlin. Maybe someday I’ll be able to afford a better subscription, but for now, you are the one who puts my mind to rest every night.

I was going through a bad mental health patch and there are a few audios on here that gave me so much comfort. My husband is an OTR trucker and sometimes I just want to hear a male voice comforting me when my hubby can’t. It’s a safe place to explore and I appreciate it so much.
