Eyy my dear Cardigan Patrons,

It's been a while since I've made a blanket statement like this to the community, but I feel like it's a really important reminder not just for y'all but for me too! This will go over the topics of consent, morality, legality, and how all of that factors into the content of an audio, especially the spicy ones.

My audios exist purely in the realm of fantasy.

While that is mostly a place we use to feel safe and content, loved and warm, it's also a place where we can play with our desires, let our wings expand a bit, and let out a few of the skeletons in our closets. It gives us a safe space to play around with those limits, explore our boundaries, and safely navigate through feelings and desires we might otherwise never address in real life.

I don't know if y'all have noticed, but we’re trying to tag Spicy Audios a little more specifically. Of course, we still don't catch everything. Sometimes, things that don't make me or my team blink can really affect someone else.

Through the years, the shifting rules here on Patreon as well as on YouTube, have forced me to stop making some of the content I love, and I loathe to give up much more of it. I think it's vital that we allow each other to express and enjoy audios in our own way and in our own time.

Things that happen in these audios don’t always reflect true life, true experiences, or even safe sex. In most audios we don't bring up condoms, birth control, or testing for STIs, which are some of the things you should always bring up with all of your partners.

But more to the point, it's okay to fantasize about stuff that doesn't reflect what is safe in real life, even things that are considered taboo.

Different people are going to have different tastes, and with that comes different limitations and boundaries, as well as differing opinions on what is right or wrong, moral or immoral, or yucky versus tasty.

And because we all have different experiences and different things that can make us feel uncomfortable, I want y'all to know and understand that you have complete control and responsibility over your own content consumption.

If something in an audio makes you feel uncomfortable or goes against your values, you should, of course, respect your personal boundaries and stop listening to it immediately. Taking care of yourself is more important than anything else. There will always be other audios for you from our archive and in the future.

I always try to make sure my content is diverse and inclusive.

I truly appreciate it when you comment and point something out to me. That way, I can tag my work more appropriately, better preparing you and others for the content that my audios contain. Also, the Erotic Index of all my audios has a longer list of tags in case you’re interested in looking them over.

I want my audios to be a safe space for you to fantasize and explore sexuality.

Sometimes, that means going into darker places that you don't want to happen in real life, but want to have a safe place to fantasize about them. However, this is also a reminder that you all have the control and power to turn it off if it gets too much.

I ask that we, as a community, recommit to this tenet of being open and accepting.

On my part, it means a re-commitment to ensure that audios are tagged properly and have as many warning signs as necessary to keep you feeling safe. What I ask from your end is to please be respectful of each other's kinks and preferences, including the writers’ who contribute so generously to the community through their scripts, while also keeping me honest with my tagging.

Your feedback is always important and I want you to feel heard.

If you have personal concerns or if an audio is missing a specific tag, please inform me via DM to ensure that we don't accidentally "yuck someone's yum" as we openly share feedback regarding an audio that might make someone who enjoyed it feel guilty or shameful for liking what they do. In the same manner, it’s also a secure space for you to voice out your thoughts and feelings.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, you’re welcome to contact me about them.

Thank you for continuing to not only keep this dream alive, but also for allowing me and some others to explore and celebrate our sexuality in all of its myriad shapes and expressions.

Thank you so much for reading this entire post, and it truly means a lot, especially in this time, that you all support me through everything.

Thanks for addressing this ❤️. I truly appreciate how much thought and consideration you put into every single thing you do. However, for me, it seems that for a very long time the uploads were into various types of aggressive activities that always make me feel unsafe, so I just stopped following altogether as I should like.
