I'm thinking of writing again... and I could use your insight. (Patreon)

Like it says on the tin, I'm thinking of breaking my years-long writer's block by writing a script to help celebrate our 4-year anniversary here at  CardlinAudio. I thought it over a few and, with the help of some of the folk on the Discord server, decided it'd be fitting/meaningful/classic to do another twisted fairy tale, like I did for Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella (and Little Red Riding Hood and The Little Mermaid, though I didn't write those).

So, I have a couple of ideas and I'd love to hear which one you all want to hear the most. These are all my concepts and, just as a warning: they're all dark. That's the point, it's a dark twist on a classically lighthearted fairytale.  I try to add that layer of romance/love (however skewed), like I did with Beauty and the Beast, but know that these are all definitely going to be more twisted concepts.

I'm going to list the ideas below for you to vote on, but do me a favor:

A - Tarzan(a)
Cardlin is a scholarly explorer discovering the brave, wild, untouched lands and comes across, of all things, a woman. Feral as she is beautiful, he goes to investigate but quickly falls into her trap. They can't communicate, but they're infinitely curious about one another, especially she. She's never seen one like her before... and it's awakening some primal instincts.

B - Sleeping Beauty
Prince Cardlin has defeated all the beasts, routed her captors, and dodged all the traps; finally, at the top of the tower, awaits his prize: the beautiful princess, cursed by dark magic to sleep until she feels true love's first kiss. The Prince knows all too well her feelings for him; she'd teased him all his life, belittled and beguiled him, all to hide her love. He knows one more crucial thing as well; while asleep, she can feel, hear, and even see everything happening to her. Now that he alone has saved her, he intends to finally awaken her... after he's taken his reward.

C - Pinocchio
"You created me, master... and for years, I've done your bidding. I have never disobeyed you... until this morning, when I crept into your laboratory and read your notes. You see, I know that there is one final stage of the ritual you did to create me... one last step you never took, to ensure I would be your servant forever. But I know now, master... I know how you can make me a real man."

D - Snow White
The not-so-innocent princess longs for her mother's throne, but the old crone is guarded by seven of the toughest warriors the land had ever seen. To help her gain her crown, she goes to the only one rumored to be capable of killing even her mother's guards: an assassin who goes by the name The Huntsman. He decides he'll help her, but it'll cost her... and he no longer has any need for wealth or power. He hungers for only one thing... to claim the princess for his own. How badly does she want to be Fairest of them All?
