Ok, so the commissioner can't pay for a couple of weeks, so that animation has to be pushed back some.

Wait, you don't collect payment until AFTER you put all the hard work in? Wouldn't it make more sense to take payment up front, to avoid situations like this?

I do usually take payment upfront, but this person paid a large chunk of it upfront, then said the rest would be there soon. Then they ran into trouble, it happens. I usually don't start a commission until I've received FULL payment, but this guy literally couldn't until he saved up, and I figured he was trustworthy enough. Because of this, and the anon hate I've got on tumblr for it, surprisingly enough, I won't be doing that again, I just wanted to be helpful.
