A little more about Phaedra as a character. In the underworld she is nothing more than a lowly and weak imp, existing as a toy to the whims of the Warden in her district of hell. While in the overworld Phaedra takes on a domineering personality. Her power in the overworld is great in comparison to the average mortal, but pales in comparison to that of other great imps and demons that reside in hell. The sexual abuse she receives in hell materializes in the overworld in a sort of school yard bully kind of way. 

She is constantly at odds between her inner desire for sexual pain and pleasure and her desire for peace and redemption.
