I think they have made the right decision. They need to focus on finding their own path as individuals. They need and deserve this break for their own well-being. They have been under so much pressure for so many years now, not wanting to disappoint anyone, that it's taking a toll on them mentally, physically and emotionally. I remember in one interview years ago Yoongi said that he would write 2 or 3 songs daily and now he says that he has to force himself to get the words out. Namjoon said the group has changed so much that fundamentally, he no longer knows what the group is. That he has lost sight of Bangtan Sonyeondan. This breaks my heart a million times more than them taking a hiatus. I agree with him. For the past few years, I have found myself wishing for more songs like those from their first 3 or 4 albums and I do listen to them more. This is their time to grow, to relax and rejuvenate, to become individuals, to rekindle the love and passion that made them want to pursue music in the first place. On a separate note, we all knew that something like this was luming. As far as I know (and I could be completely wrong about this), the South Korean government has yet to make a decision about changing their military service law. Meaning Jin has to enlist by December 4th and Yoongi has to enlist by March 9th. Change was coming. According to JKs vlive, they are not really in hiatus, its more of a shift from BTS being the main focus to bring the members as individuals in to the spotlight. They are still going to doing events and other things as a group. BTS is not going anywhere, they are here to stay. AND on a more exciting note, RUN BTS will be coming back. JK said they are still filming run bts episodes. So I will use this time to catch up on the infinite amount of BTS content that's out there and maybe, just maybe, my bank account will grow during this time as well. The best is yet to come.

i think the easiest way to clear up all your questions and confusions in this video is to watch the Bangtan Dinner Festa 2022 video. It's all real and deep talk though a piece of advice is to take their words as they are and don't make up conclusions or overthink too much. It was really sad and I still am sad but you'll know what I mean when you watch it. For me after 7 years being with them it is really the most vulnerable they have been with us for a content like that.

Don’t believe shit billboard says when it comes to the boys just watch the fesfa video and look at a translation of what Namjoon said on weverse. It’s not a hiatus because there still going to do group projects but they’re putting more focus on solo projects as well.

The best thing I believe is just for you guys to watch the FESTA video because the guys spoke about what they want to do and you guys can see what is going on.

Apparently bts is releasing a statement next week saying that they’re going to enlist soon. So i think the older members, Jin and Suga, will be enlisting and the remaining members will have solo projects in the meantime. J-hope’s album is confirmed for July.

I hope you guys take the time to watch the FESTA dinner to truly understand why they are taking this time to rest and grow as individuals! I did cry while watching not because they were taking a break but because they have kept so much bottled up and it was hard watching them apologizing to us throughout the video.

HYBE made a statement saying that BTS are not disbanding nor taking a hiatus, they are just taking time to focus more on solo projects. They apparently will be shooting run BTS as well as focusing on their solos and I'm also guessing (but this has not been confirmed) that Suga and Jin might go ahead and enlist in the military during this time so that when BTS finally come back together as one, at least 2 members would have already finished their mandatory military service. The members and HYBE have both confirmed that bts will eventually come back together as one to keep making music together so at least for now, there's no need to worry:)

I would advice y’all to react to the BTS DINNER 2022 video that’s where all your answers are gonna get answered by BTS themselves cause they explain more than what’s social media is sayin and they also talk about other things and the dinner was fun to watch in general

please watch BTS Dinner 2022! it's Chaotic as usual but I will answer your questions! it was emotional hearing them speak!
