You have to remember that in SK they learn English in school as a mandatory course so they have a prior and basic understanding of grammar and pronounciation. So it's not that English is "easier" for other countries, it's that they are more or less forced to learn. However, it doesn't always stick for all of them. But also, once Jungkook was asked in an interview if singing in English is hard he said, "Its hard, crazy hard" haha

You need to watch Dynamite! The flexing they did by having all their record plaques in the background and all the moonmen from the VMA's that they have won on the table beside them! You need to watch it! They sang it with a live band as well!

English education in SK at this moment has come a long way- there are lots of native English speakers that go to teach in actual schools as well as hakwons (as well as more globalization of stuff like YT and Netflix) so that pronunciation and comprehension are way more polished than even BTS' generation. That said I think kpop idols of BTS' generation and earlier that can sing in English *well* clearly show how much time and care they took to practice.

Blue & Grey made me cry when I first listened to the lyrics bc the pain and feeling like you're in your own grey bubble while the world seems to carry on its merry way hit me like a ton of bricks. This live performance was perfectly staged with the sparse setting and early morning lighting. I had heard Fix You a million times before but never rlly listened to the words, just knew the melody, so when I finally heard the lyrics while watching BTS cover it, I about bawled my eyes out. Something abt BTS' delivery but also knowing a little but abt their journey got me right in the 💜
