Most of my time recently has been spent working on this. It's defo one of those ones where I just don't even know what to say about it because I've been staring at it for so long. Just wanted to paint a dragon haha. I don't get the chance to make work like this very often, so I'm really happy when I get to. I kind of wish I was somewhere like this, cold and wet and rocky. Maybe some gannets too haha. It's started to get hot where I am already, the heat just makes me want to hunker down and be inactive. But regardless, at least I can escape by painting scenes I would like to be in. Thanks for hanging out here.

Def prefer the cold over the heat. It's much easier to get warm and dry than it is to be cool and dry.

The dragon is pretty sick looking. A mix of organic and artificial gold filigree. Reminds me of mtg's kaladesh setting. The area around it reminds me of the cold beaches in my hometown too. All around 9/10. All it's missing is the water displacement beneath the dragon.

tbh I just didn't want to overcomplicate the water beneath them, I felt like it wasn't the point so I left it pretty neutral. Some tiny after ripples coulda been a nice touch though!
