The MAD Cartographer | Crooked

As a reminder, for Crooked we're bringing you haunted, twisted forests, creepy woodlands, and condemned locations out in the wilds. Let's begin!

Creepy Cemetery

An abandoned graveyard long since swallowed by the forests, this former place of remembrance has now become unsettling and sinister. Odd shadows move between gravestones, and a heavy fog clings to the trees whatever the weather beyond the graveyard.

Foundry users can wade through the animated fog, as well as enter the mausoleum at the north of the cemetery.

A Day/Night version is included.

Chalice Tomb

An innocent-seeming church conceals a terrible, otherwordly secret; ancient catacombs dedicated to the worship of an ancient, eldritch being who is nearly impossible to comprehend. Strange statues borne from the mind of madness stand guard over twisted corpses of worshippers long since changed and expired, as cold torches flicker endlessly throughout.

A Day/Night version is included.

However, those who venture deeper into the tomb soon begin to find more unsettling edifices...

The gallery has been updated with this content, as well as pCloud, which you can access through your Theme Master List and the Foundry VTT module is updated and ready to be downloaded.

As this is the last update of the month, assets have also been added to the Asset Library, and the 300ppi map images have been added to the Patreon store. Both of these can be accessed for free by Patrons subscribed at the All the Things tier!

Vampire Hunter | St. Andral's Orphanage

We're excited to be bringing you a larger supplement than usual this month for Vampire Hunters, thanks to a collaboration with MandyMod!

Any Curse of Strahd DM who has snooped around for advice on how to run the game for more than 5 minutes will be familiar with MandyMod, and she's agreed that she's happy for us to create maps and implement her supplements into the Vampire Hunter tier. First on that list was her popular Vallaki supplement, St. Andral's Orphanage!

This three-story orphanage comes complete with a plot relating to demonic possession, and can tie into the missing bones of St. Andral or the flourishing Barovian dream pie market!
Day/Night variants are included.

Collaboration with JamesRPGArt

We're thrilled to be able to share that going forward, we will be collaborating with JamesRPGArt frequently!

James is famous for their still and animated splash screens for theatre of the mind and scene art, and we've arranged that going forward we'll strive to make a version of each other's work - whether that be picking from each other's back catalogue, or working on a scene together!

This month, James chose to make a scene of our Abandoned Sawmill map from Crooked!

Members of our All the Things tier can find the Still and Animated (.GIF and .MP4 versions) in the Collaborations folder on pCloud!

Next Theme: Wilderwoods

Following our recent Patreon Poll, we're excited to share that our next theme will be Wilderwoods!

This theme will bring a range of forest and woodland maps to continue bulking out the most popular environment from almost every game! This theme will include such maps as:

• Rapid River Crossing

• Hag's Teahouse

• Midsommar Slaughter

• Campsite Down by the River (by the river....by the river....)

And more!

We're excited that this theme will also bring low and high level versions of a modular campsite, allowing you to quickly set up tents or Baldur's Gate 3 style personal tents for your group!

We'll be back in July with a whole bunch of content for you!
