Chapter 40 is almost done... (Patreon)

But I'm trying to decide what the hell I'm doing in the next few chapters before finalizing it, hence the delay. Technically the chapter is done unless I go back and change things again, which, there's a strong chance of me doing that. The next chapter (41) gets a bit messy because there's so much shit happening that I have to catch up on.

Writing with this many characters is a huge challenge/pain in the ass.

If the issue doesn't make it this month, you'll get two chapters next month before I go on my holiday break from writing. As I've warned before, writing content ceases during the months of November and December as my offline world job is a slog during the holiday, and I cannot afford the extra time.

Both chapters are in excess of 12 pages already, so that's quite a bit more than my 5-6 page minimum. Plus there was that chapter 31 a few months back that was 21 god damn pages. So hopefully nobody feels robbed of anything if they stay subscribed despite the lack of content for the Wanderer tier.
