Okay, so here's why we haven't had any comic content lately (Patreon)

My artist for the current chapter has been slammed primarily by exams and stuff. As a direct consequence, they have been unable to work on the comic.

Currently they are on study leave until the end of April, and their first exam is on May 1st.

Now I am also trying to still hire other artists, and any money I don't spend now will inevitably get spent later. I had the opposite problem during COVID where I had artists willing to work but had to pay out of pocket for a while because Patreon income dropped below my $750 threshold, but I also ended up paying out of pocket during that time so this all kind of balances out in the end.

If you want to withdraw your support temporarily, you may do so, but if you choose to stick around, I'm going to try to make it worth while in the meantime. If you haven't seen it already, I'm about to make a Patreon repost of the Guts and Glory 1 and 1/2 series, plus a sneak peek of American Beef chapter 14. Both will be visible for all patrons. I will be posting unreleased content here early until the comic posting resumes normally.

I've withheld some items purely because I am also behind on Little Lamia in the Big City and Ouroboros paid chapters so I've been refusing to post Legend of Peran and American Beef so as to force myself to work on paid projects, although this has not been as fruitful as I had hoped. For patrons though I'll release the chapters early, like I said. Final versions posted on Aryion might change but this is to be determined later.

Post rate for these items will be as available. Hopefully it's worth while enough to make people stick around.

tl;dr no comics because artist busy in college but I'll post some unreleased writing for all patrons in the meantime.
