Thermite from EtchASketch?

I take on the task of making Thermite from a toy. Turns out it will work but you have to know some tricks of chemistry. Grant's Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2KkkMoyFP4

The reflection must be caused by the light getting polarized. Find a polarized lens from sunglasses or video or photography equipment. They are amazing when looking through the surface of water rotate the lens. It will go clear and then completely reflective.

"What's inside"'s method of getting the powder out was definitely less messy haha

Very nice! I'm a big fan all things copper--my father was a copper geologist, and I grew up in the Keweenaw. The mines ran under the whole town.

You Can suppress those reflections by using a polarizing filter. (Cheap hack could be that you take some of those 3D glasses from the movie theater apart and tape it onto your camera)

But Cody don't forget that the polarization has to be the correct way (I forgot whether it has to be vertical or horizontal polarized) if it doesn't work then turn the filter slowly until you reach the optimum suppression.

This is progress!
