As a pyro, it pleases me to see you mix flash the correct way 👍🏼

Cody, what would you think about adding captions a la primitive technology's channel? I think the parts of your videos with no dialogue could be really interesting with the captions explaining each step. In this particular video it might not make sense since the silent part is sped up, but I think its a good idea for future videos :).

Been following your exploits since 2013(?), these little random chemistry videos are some of my favorites. I appreciate that you do what it takes to scratch that curiosity itch whenever a question pops into your head. Keep up the good work! I’m looking forward to the return of your mining adventures once CHBase Camp is established :D

5:12 Should we be worried about Cody's potassium habit? :P

Great experiment. The only thing I would change is to split the joined bunches into ripe and green groups. That way you could cancel out differences between plants (though this is probably negligible as well).

I like how u used ethane to ripened the bananas. Very interesting video.

Cull2ArcaHeresy

did you make a bunch of banana bread?

I enjoyed the montage with labels, but for as long as it is, it is a bit lonely without any voiceover. Feels like it could use at least some voiceover, or at least background music.

I really loved this video! I thought the silent part was still very entertaining, I could still follow the process!

Your numbers are in fact pretty significant. But as a you mentioned, N=1. So I would have liked to see the results of the banana fruit as well. And it would have provided some information about your error!

I loved the silent montage. Very zen. The FIRE at the end made it even better.

So should we eat the skin of banana for potassium? Is it possible for you to test the fiber or sugar amount in the peels and the flesh in the skin? I wonder which is more nutritious?

Would there be a market for Eco friendly Banana fireworks? :)

Nevermind the potassium, but what on earth did you use for the labels? Banana peels burned to ash, but not a single mark on the label. That was something.

Hey Cody, Another very interesting and educational video. When I noticed there were more Green Peel ashes, then the ashes made from the Ripened Peels, it made me wonder if it weren't just potassium migrating from the peels to the flesh, but the flesh migrating from the peels to the fruit. You know those banana "strings"... perhaps they are leaving the peel and joining the fruit as the whole fruit ripens? That would be an interesting experiment, if you could figure out how to test for it. Thanks again for another wonderful video! Darren in Nevada
