didn't turn out as good as I would have liked (im going to blame the atmosphere) but you can clearly see the comet (neowise) moving against the background stars.

That's awesome. I'm hoping the clouds will move out of the way tonight so I can try pointing my telescope (that I finally got working today) at it. Earlier this evening, I finally got to see Jupiter's moons and cloud bands as well as Saturn's rings for the first time with my own eyes. Waiting for Mars to rise... Wondering if I'll be able to see Phobos and Deimos.
