Is it odd that I prefer some of the artistic choices from the original? Specifically the close up of Vex and how deep Thordaks hooha is going in her. Might just be a personal preference. Actually it probably is.

Understandable and thats why the original versions are included as well. Personally I feel the old version makes Thordak look really small for a Dragon.

I can see that yeah. I guess it's just a toss up between which artistic choices you prefer. Small dragon, close up and deeper hooha or bigger dragon, less close up and... more the hooha tip than anything. Regardless, both are great pieces of art. Certainly one of my favourites from the series. Much respects
