First and foremost, I hope every one of my readers and their families are doing well, physically and financially. These are trying times and we have to take care of one another as best we can if we want to get through it.

So, I want to apologize as well as update everyone. I' incredibly sorry for the unforgivably long delay. It's so unprofessional and disappointing, it really gets to me. So, really, guys, I'm sorry.

The Reason: Since I'm deemed an essential employee, I've been working crazy hours. For the first 2 months of this whole quarantine, I was working 70+ hours every week and I'm not even being paid for the overtime. But being exhausted is only part of the reason for the delay. The other reason is just the stress of everything can make it difficult for me to get in the mindset. 

BUT, that doesn't mean I've stopped writing. I write as often as I can, whether it's a few sentences or paragraphs. Currently, the new chapter is at 16K and feels like it'll top out at 20K, maybe 21K. Once I finish with that first draft, revisions are much easier and go much faster so it won't be too much longer before I update.

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my amazed heart for your support. It's truly inspirational and gave me the energy to keep at it every day. Please be safe and look forward to a post real soon.
