Concept Art #22: Everyone's happy (Patreon)

It's been a while since our last Concept Art posting, so we thought you guys would like to see some early sketches of the final CG in the original Time Tenshi! (Spoilers follow!)

In this scene, Grandpa, Rose and Kyo are shocked to find that there's a mysterious figure inside the Time Window! Who could it be?

Well, in the final version of this illustration, Grandpa and the girls are wearing expressions of shocked surprise. But in the early drafts, they actually turned out looking pretty happy! That didn't quite fit so we changed it, but honestly, we think these sketch versions of the scene look so nice that they deserve to be coloured too!
And yes, the mysterious figure on the right of the image is actually the early version of Michelle's appearance, but in the final illustration this was changed to a back view of part of her holographic body.
