Hi Silver Cow Patrons,

We have never had to make a post like this before, and it is certainly one that we wish we didn't have to make.

Before we begin we want to assure you all that the latest game in the Time Tenshi series "The Princess of Time" on Switch is continuing, and in production stage.

With that said you might rightfully wonder why there has been no updates with regard to the game since last year?

Last year, at the end of June - we lost contact with one of our well loved and long time writers, our friend OrionPax09. It was very abrupt, suddenly no replies. At the time OrionPax09 was in full swing writing the "Princess of Time" and we Silver Cow were of course working with him as we had done for over seven years on various projects, guiding the pen as it were to ensure the special flavour and exciting, compelling story line that hallmarks all our games was kept.

But communication ceased at the end of June, very much out of keeping with OrionPax 09 who always had a habit of answering our emails almost before we could send them, he was that keen about what he did.
So we waited, and waited, but nothing. We contacted him again and again over a period of months thinking perhaps he may have had a problem we were not aware of and giving time for him to reply. Yet still nothing, eventually we wrote and say that if we did not hear from him then we would have to give the remainder of the story to another writer to complete. When we still did not hear anything to that particular email we knew something was very wrong because OrionPax09 loved Time Tenshi and was so passionately keen about writing for it (at the time we lost contact he had already completed some 30,000 words and we were actively working on the art etc).

As we began to investigate deeper we were met with increasingly concerning signs - all the social outlets we knew he kept and maintained also ceased any input or further postings at the same time as contact with us had ceased.

Patrons, it was then that we realised that in order to find out exactly why our friend OrionPax09 had ceased contact we would need to do research beyond just checking activity on social media etc.

We don't want to write this, and there our tears in our eyes as we do, but we received confirmation from an official outlet that a man of the same name, age and district very, very sadly died around the same time that contact with us and all social media activity ceased, last year in June.

To say we were shocked was an understatement, numbed would more be the word. We had known OrionPax09 for 7 years and had interacted with him in emails that run into the tens of thousands of words over the years. He loved Time Tenshi and when we first gave him the opportunity to get involved in our story years back he loved it and jumped at the chance. He was nothing but a pleasure to work with and always outstandingly polite, courteous and patient. He was an amazingly talented writer and his passing is such a sad, sad loss, not just as a writer but as someone that had become like a friend of Silver Cow too.

Well Patrons, now you know why we didn't want to have to make this particular post. As for the game, we know he would have wanted it to continue and we will be reaching out now to those who think they know Time Tenshi well enough, to complete the story under our guidance.
We will be updating you on that, and art etc will continue to hopefully make this one of the best outings for the girls yet.

As a mark of respect and in an effort to at least do something, we will update his social media outlets with this news. He was always very diligent in keeping his social media updated and his followers informed, and we are sure he wouldn't have wanted to think that they would just be left never knowing why he ceased to interact with them. So we will take care of that.

Tessa was one of the favourite Time Tenshi characters of OrionPax09 so we have included her full colour sprite for the new game for you here guys. Hope you like it, we are sure he would have too.

Finally to say at the end of such a sad post - thank you all so much for your continued amazing support all these years, and as they say - The show must go on.
