Concept Art #35: Mysterious outsider (Patreon)

It's time for a new Concept Art posting! And today, in addition to showing you a peek at some of the original sketches for Cynthia, Bunni and Mizuki here, we're also revealing the existence of another unused character who was originally planned for inclusion in the first Time Tenshi game!

Ling Jun!

Unfortunately, no art exists of this character because she didn't make it off the game's concept document. But if she had appeared in the Time Tenshi series, she'd have been a member of Chrontek and a formidable practitioner of Shaolin Kung Fu!

Despite her seemingly reserved mannerisms, she'd have been shockingly fast in close combat, surpassing even Mizuki's legendary speed! Her Time Suit would have been a beautiful cheongsam, while her interests were planned to be Chinese calligraphy and pork noodles.

Ultimately Mizuki became the series' main agile antagonist, so does Ling Jun have a chance of ever appearing in a Time Tenshi game? We can't say for sure, but who knows... maybe someday!
