Concept Art #31: Kunoichi of Kaboom! (Patreon)

We're hard at work in the office on our newest games, but right now we're taking a moment to bring you guys a Patreon-exclusive look at some concept art from one of our first visual novels on Steam: Burokku Girls!

Do you remember this girl? She's Zara, the mischievous Lurker girl with a a taste for explosions - and a knack for showing up at the most unexpected moments with a stick of dynamite at the ready!

Here you can see the original artist sketches of both her in-game sprite and CG illustration. We have to admit, Zara is still one of our favourite characters, not only for her personality but also her looks and music too!

Fun fact: if you noticed some similarity between Zara and the Chrontek ninja, Mizuki, then that's no coincidence! Did you know her appearance here was originally going to be used for Mizuki? (Sometimes a lot of stuff changes behind the scenes before a game goes gold!)
