Q&A #1: Rose answers your questions! (Patreon)

Just like we promised, it's time for Rose, the scientist-knight of the Time Tenshi series, to answer five of your best questions! 

Recently we were fortunate enough to catch her on a rare break from her duties in the Time Window facility! So, without further ado, we're going to hand it over to Rose right now!

Kara Valentine: What's your favourite thing about Kyo?

Rose: Oh, that's an easy one! I admire Kyo for many things, but if it weren't for her cheerful attitude, I think the Time Window facility would be a much gloomier place. Especially with all the... complications that tend to happen on and around our missions.

Trenten Jarrell: When first getting used to the time machine, what were some of your favorite places to go visit? And how were the early effects from the same device?

Rose: Hmm... well, my favourite destination would have to be England, I suppose. I'm fascinated with the history of my country, especially about anything to do with knights and the battles they fought in. Sadly though we don't embark on research missions as often these days, since recent events have been keeping us very busy. And I'd say the Time Window's "effects" were quite gentle at first, although definitely noticeable! They have a way of... catching up to you, which presents some unusual inconveniences, but I've grown used to adjusting to them over time.

shard zerune: have you ever thought about using a shield ? with your sword like you pull the sword from the shield that would be cool^^

Rose: Well, a shield isn't currently part of my combat style. I've often thought of giving it a try, but I'm cautious about the possible implications of carrying heavy additional equipment that could only serve to slow me down in battle. The broadsword is quite heavy enough by itself... I can only just about manage to wield it effectively, and that's after countless hours of training! Having said that, I might just mention your interesting idea to Kyo some time.

Professor NerdOut: How did Rose end up joining the Time Tenshi?

Rose: I'm not one to sing my own praises, but in the words of Tensai himself, he was looking for "some of the best scientific and engineering minds the world had to offer". I happened to be studying pharmaceuticals and general science at the time, and I suppose I must have checked all the boxes on his list, somehow. I'm not entirely sure why myself, but he chose me for the team over several possible alternatives. And I'm very glad that he did!

Happy-Clam-911: The time window's effects seem to be increasing. Or at least that's a running theory. Replacing clothes, updating your time suit, and then what must Kenji think! But do you think it'd ever deter you from continuing to be the Time Tenshi's beautiful and heroic vanguard?

Rose: Oh, I'm quite flattered! I really don't deserve such praises. But I'm ready to meet any challenge to the best of my ability if it means furthering Tensai's research into our historic field. I truly believe that we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and although it's an extremely dangerous area of study, we have a responsibility to fully explore the possibilities it offers. And not only that, but also to safely tackle any threats we meet, as well as to prevent our technology from ever falling into evil hands. Despite the risks we face, it's an enormous honour to be part of the "Time Tenshi" - as Tessa called us - and I couldn't ever see myself as being anything else!
