Silver Cow Patron Update #30 (Patreon)

It's been a pretty busy month in the office, so we thought we'd take this opportunity to bring you up to speed on the latest news from Silver Cow!

As you might have guessed, we've been hard at work on Super Time Tenshi lately, and things are progressing fast! We've been working with our artists on the game's character art and backgrounds, and now a good chunk of the game's enemies have been completed as well as all of the main girls on both sides, plus plenty of varied and really well-detailed locations based on history!

Recently we released a preview here on our Patreon (at the $10.00 level and above) of one of the Egyptian enemies, a spear-wielding warrior girl, as well as an animated teaser of part of the Ancient Egypt area of history! Some pretty complicated stuff happened as part of that, including parallax calculations, layer configuration and plenty of animating!

Speaking of animating, we recently completed work on the Egyptian warrior girl's animations including her standing, attacking, walking and damage poses. A lot of thought goes into each animation, and part of our development process includes using reference materials to judge how each character should stand and move - one example would be Mizuki's katana stance, and we'll post up a preview of the Egyptian warrior's guard stance soon too!
Adapting the girls' chibi-style bodies to serious fighting stances is a challenging but fun, and we hope you guys are liking the results so far!

Aside from the art and animation departments, we've been having some internal office discussions lately about which engine would be the best choice for Super Time Tenshi. One thing we've often considered is the possibility of multi-platform support at some stage (who wouldn't want to see some Super Time Tenshi on consoles like PS4 or Switch!?), and very soon we'll be investing in new game creation software which will be a great help if we decide to go that route, and it'll assist our development process in general!

Then, just like we promised a while back, we've revisited some of the artwork from Burokku Girls and asked our artist to redraw some of the CGs, and we love how the new versions have turned out! What's more, we'll be releasing those updated illustrations, along with some cleaning and tidying up of the game's script, as a free update to the game!
Whether it'll be your first time visiting the virtual world of Asahi and her friends, or whether you enjoyed playing the game when it was first released last year, we hope you'll enjoy the newly updated Burokku Girls experience when it comes out on Steam soon! Stay tuned for more on that!
