Do you think I should add sound affects to these pages with 'splosions? I can never decide.

On the one hand, I like how simple and clean it looks without sound affects. On the other hand, big kaboom. Hard choice indeed.

Maybe you could try blending the sound effects with the environment? Like spelling whoosh out of smoke or bang out of the explosion. That might look a little weird, though. Could be worth experimenting with.
