Curious if you like these "static" sequences where they keep the same shape so it's easier to see the changes, or the more "animated" ones where they have different poses showing how they're reacting?

Yes and no, some yes others no.

I think I like the "animated" ones better - particularly when they have expressions going from "oh shit what is happening" to "yeah, this is nice - look how hot I am". I like their personality. But I enjoy them both...

Static is easier to see changes for sure. But having both is good too.
