I wonder if it will ever be weird someday when super science makes gender irrelevant and you can swap bodies like swapping clothes. (i assume you will just use brain-integrated VR remote control to control androids with perfect feedback), that it will be considered odd to not be gender fluid. Possible future: Party dress code: freckled red head woman with some kind of tail.

Far as modern gender identities and the medicine behind it are today, all I can say is that it is a complete mess on both sides, with politics getting embroiled and pushing something far outside healthy limits. Someday the gender you are born with will be irrelevant, but unfortunately modern surgery and medicine is still nowhere near being able to make that happen.

So many people say they are neither trans, neither genderfluid... This is a huge surprise for me. I expected the opposite result.

It may be that while many are comfortable with idea of shifting genders and fantasise in the ability to do so, how they are outside of the home is that of a specific gender. Would be interesting to do other polls around sexuality and gender change.

Not surprised at all by the results. I'm not trans but I would love the ability to shapeshift into a beautiful woman and have some hot lesbian sex and then change back.
