Griffin
Such a luscious feast for the eyes to behold! The fabled griffin—with the body and hindquarters of the regal lion, and the head and wings of a majestic eagle—is arguably the most royal of beasts. She is truly a divine representation of animal forms, known as a heraldic symbol of heavenly power.
Blessed with a hypnotic gaze and innate abilities to defend, the lovely griffin has long been known for its power to protect priceless treasures and gifts, acting as the celestial guardian to hidden gold deposits throughout Europe and Asia. These fierce creatures use their massive talons to dig deep below the earth’s surface, embedding lain eggs in nests also containing piles of golden nuggets; their repositories only discovered centuries after burial.
Herein this humble collection of lore, I am regrettably unable to procure a firsthand encounter of this creature, due to its elusive and dangerous nature. While a certain member of distinct nobility reached out to me with his tale of griffin hunting, the evidence proved too phantastic even for this credulous author.

Awesome Dude

The grandiose seductress who was able to eclipse the consummated endeavour of the tremendous columnist Baird, what a competent and alluring adversary she is!

Nocturn3

Wow, everything Baird has seen and he can't find one lousey chicken? Some guide maker he turned out to be! (Good work folks)

Scott Wulf

And what a beauteous one she is! Of course she won't let herself be found by just any eyes! Proud and mighty, highly formidable, yet someone dare compare her to a common fowl...knave! Just a glimpse is enough...now...a minotaur...those lovely beasties pack a punch....Griffons...where the heck do ya think those bloody ninjas learned their stealth tricks from?!

LittleNapoleon

Baird might have had better luck had he conducted his survey in the Mediterranean world ; )

Ngrasta

Kittybirb! :D

ComicTF

Great work on the neck feathers.

Woodnote

Damn, Baird has a thing for Griffons. Good taste. This lore also makes the idea of Griffon-Malcolm very interesting. Would she become a defender of the village? Dash to the mountains to start a gold hoard? Who knows!
